What were your reason(s) for coming to PrattMWP?
I wanted to pursue art, and MWP provides a quality education at an
affordable cost. I like the spacious campus, and the student to teacher
ratio which is quite small.
What have you learned while being at PrattMWP?
I learned to draw better, paint better, and became more familiar with the
design elements. I learned to live on my own in a dorm room setting. I
learned the how to get along with roommates.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student?
Have fun while following the rules, and treat others as you would want to
be treated. Make an effort to manage your time, so that you can get all
your work done at the highest quality, without burning out trying to
complete last minute assignments.
What do you plan to do with your Pratt degree?
I plan to pursue advertising.

What were your reason(s) for coming to PrattMWP? Pratt was my dream school it just seem to fit my personality. Pratt MWP was a way for me to get to Pratt Institute and I think a small two year school was the best way to prepare for a bigger campus.
What have you learned while being at PrattMWP? Pratt has taught me so many things but I feel the most influential learning experience on my life is how art is a whole different culture, and a world to learn and explore that is why I find Pratt MWP a amazing learning experience.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student? I think the most important piece of advice I could give to a incoming freshmen would have to be that whatever fears or concerns that you might have will probably go away by the first weekend so try to not stress to much because the faculty is sweet and always there for you and as for peers you will fit in some where no matter who you are.
What do you plan to do with your Pratt degree? With a Pratt degree
I know that the options are endless I have yet to decide where I'm going to
go into Disney or Pixar animation if that doesn't happen I will try for a
Career in advertisement

What were your reason(s) for coming to PrattMWP? I really liked the environment and how small the school was. I also liked how much individual attention the professors are able to give with the classes being as small as they are.
What have you learned while being at PrattMWP? I've gotten better at painting and my understanding of anatomy has really improved. Overall the quality of my work has increased since starting classes. Then, of course, there's all the things that come from living in a dorm, like getting yourself up and ready in enough time for class and how to survive on a diet of ramen and spaghetti-o's when you're too busy to go to the student center for a meal or two. Not to mention time management.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student? Try not to procrastinate too much, especially come finals week.
What do you plan to do with your Pratt degree? I'm hoping to get into children's books illustrations or character design.

What were your reasons for coming to PrattMWP? I was really into art at a young age. I did sculptures with easy bake clay and all of that fun stuff, and I drew a lot. So I went to high school and I had a really amazing teacher who supported me and all of my projects. So I decided to go on that road, and PrattMWP was a great, renowned art school, and it was local. It was really important for me to stay home, so a renowned art school ten minutes away was an obvious choice for me.
What have you learned while being at PrattMWP? I learned a lot about technique, composition and how to use materials (although I still have a lot more to learn). One big thing I learned is that all art doesn't have to be an expression of whatever you're feeling at one time. If you're in a bad mood, your color wheel exercise doesn't have to reflect that. Do everything to the best of your ability, and how your teachers tell you. I know that sounds harsh maybe, but you'll get that project where you can really express everything you want. I think life is like that a lot. Wait for opprotunities, do what you need to do, and a time will come that is just right for you. Thats a lot of what I learned here.
What is one piece of advice that you would give to an incoming student? What I said above is probably the best advice I could give. Other than that, don't close yourself off. Really try to make friends, because after college, its real life. Nobody after college is going to force you together with people you would get along with. Make friends that will last. Don't ever have the mentality of "I'm just going to do my work, and thats the only thing I'm here for." Doing well and having good grades is super important, but its just as important to live well with the people in your lives. Overcome little things and have a great time here, because it goes faster than you think. And also, this just popped in my mind. Your teachers are some of the most renowned local artists in the area. They know what they're talking about. Sometimes you might not understand, and sometimes you'll get frustrated. Your teachers are people too, and it's really just people communicating with people. They want to help. Theres a serious generosity going here. Listen to what they say. The thing that always made me uncomfortable was when people got stand off-ish with teachers. They're really trying to help, so understand what they say, try not to get defensive, because in the end its better for you and them.
What do you plan to do with your Pratt degree? I'm planning on being an art teacher. I like working with people and sharing knowledge. I love communicating with people, human being communicating with human being, sharing experience and knowledge and all that jazz. But I'm not set on anything. That will most likely be my career path, but if something else comes up, I'm not closed-minded.

What were your reason(s) for coming to PrattMWP? The small classes and the good learning environment
What have you learned while being at PrattMWP? I learned that being an art student is more than just painting and drawing, so that years from now my work can fill up a museum. It lets me have a chance to exercise my talents and also make a difference in the art world and in everyday life.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student? Relax; it's hard to get used to college, but this is a great school and I know that you will find just want you want here. You just have to look for it.
What do you plan to do with your Pratt degree? I plan on continuing my education after Pratt and working towards a career in Archeology and/or Art History.

What have you learned while being at PrattMWP? A lot, I've learned more here in a year about art than I ever have before. You learn a lot about yourself and your strengths and weaknesses you also learn a lot about your peers. I've learned that art is not easy it takes hard work.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming student? Be prepared for a heavy workload and don't be afraid of change it will only help you improve.
